Okay, it's nothing special, and I like the look of the flattened wire better but wanted to try this before hammering on the wire. But, it is my first attempt. I had already drilled this through to make a hanging pendant, and decided to try this method instead. Going to see if it sells and if so may try more wrapping...

I think that came out pretty nice. I don't think you will have a problem selling it.

Thanks Chris. I was going to groove it, but it's too cold to pull out the groove grinder, and wanted to do something with it. It's quite thick so was going to hang it like I do many of my pendants, then someone here posted something similar and I thought I'd give it a go.
I've got a whole pile of cabs similar to this that I'm itching to try similar styles with, just ran out of silver wire...lol...

That looks great!! The hardest part of wire wrapping is getting decent looking swirls, and you nailed it!! That's also a clean design, very cool

Nice job Robin. Looks like you are off to a great start. Save that scrap, if it's real silver you'll want to turn it in for cash or credit when you get enough. By the way, it took me a long time to wrap at first but it gets easier the more you do it.

Robin, that is very nice! Could you give a little details on how you did that, please. How is the stone secured in there? I also like how you did the bail, very creative. It's short, tight & a great way to do it! The swirls are just enough to dress it up a little but still shows the stone? off perfectly! WTG!!!!!!
