Just wanted to stop by and say hi. I am new to the forum and rock tumbling all together. It has been an interest in the back of my mind since I was young but I never followed it anywhere. I stumbled upon this site while searching for craft ideas and it ignited the spark again.
I may just linger a while, I enjoy browsing through forums and plan on making most of my equipment. I am very mechanically inclined, and I also have design skills. I am currently in my final semester of college for mechanical engineering.

Welcome Chris! I had this in the back of my mind for years and years. When I finally got hooked, thanks to Rockmanken, it stuck me deep and it won't let go. When I finally noticed that I had rocks from all around the world, crystals from Africa to desert roses from Saudi Arabia, and lots and lots of geodes from southern Indiana, then I knew that all along I'd been subconsciously hooked. I didn't realize I'd been carrying these stones with me on all my travels, and when I piled them all up, well I knew at that moment I was destined to make that pile even bigger. lol
Welcome aboard, and good luck on finishing your education!
