We bought some varigated tiger eye while we were in Qsite. I love the color of this. Some not as blue sodalite.... kinda looks like denim. A pretty jaser i don't know The ever so popular birdseye rhyolite. Makes great cabs. Bear Creek Agate did you all miss me?? mary ann

Nice! I tumbled some little scraps of that bird's eye rhyolite that I got from the box I bought form you guys and it takes a splendid polish. Best I've ever gotten with a bird's eye rhyolite type material.....Mel

therre is a couple different kinds of the birdseye, but i always look for the more white or yellow with the red. That seems to have less fractures and not many pits. I stay away from the brownish one.

Yeah, those orbicular rhyolites are real variable in texture. The one you've pictured even has a trade name I've seen a few times, " Flor de Chihuahua". Very pretty material anyway....Mel
