That's a fantastic idea for use of the scrap. I've made clasps with my short pieces, but never thought to make a whole chain. Cool!

Thanks guys it is called time consuming winter project ;D I found that I don't get much back on gold filled and I wanted to do some thing a little different. I have done three so far. They also are stronger and go better with bigger wraps than the small chains you buy. Donna

Anybody know anyplace to recycle copper wire? Wish Rio Grande took copper as well as gold & silver. At least they didn't the last time I looked. jo

I think that you would only be able to recycle copper in a regular recycling place where they take cans.
