Here is the latest dendritic opal cab I cut. This cab has some of the orangy colored material in it. I was at this site yesterday and dug up a little of the purple. I am not sure how that material will cut up but I will see. I am still prospecting this site and once I am satisfied that it will be viable I will post and file a claim on the site This cab is 25mm x 18mm x 9mm ![](http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp59/christopherlesso/CABOCHONS%20FOR%202011/111_1863.jpg) ![](http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp59/christopherlesso/CABOCHONS%20FOR%202011/111_1877.jpg) Thanks for looking

I think we should ban Chris... everything he touches turns to gold.. that or change his name to Midas....

That's gorgeous material Christopher, and of course your cabbibg skills are top notch.
Congratulations on getting ready to stake a claim. Sounds very exciting!

Thank you everyone. The purple material I collected came out looking more gray than anything. I will have to go back and continue searching.

Guess you can't heat treat Opal to try to deepen the purple?
