Anyone use the hf 4" tile saw? They are on sale at $44.99. I have a 20% off coupon too. Decent 4" blades are pretty cheap too. I already have the 7" workforce but even the mk hotdog blade is pretty thickfor trimming up slabs. My wife said it could be a valentines gift.

Check the arbor size. If it is 5/8" you can use it with a lapidary blade (I use the MK145 with 303C blade). Makes a powerful trim saw.

All I know is that I have the harbor freight 7" and it only uses a 1" arbor (they are the only ones that have that size) and it can really chew up the rocks and break preforms that you try to cut out. The 4" may be better. Fran

arbor is regular - not 1". BUT loud loud loud. I am thinking of giving mine away because even $100 for a MK 4"seems reasonable compared to how bothered I was by the amount of noise
