I get there SiC belts all the time. They won't last as long as diamond but you can expect a fair number of cabs off them before they become too worn to be of much use. One key with these is to watch your pressure. Pushing too hard will wear these out very quickly

Oops forgot to give you a cab guesstimate. I cut about 25 to 35 cabs before thebelts are too slow to be worth my while. They will still grind but are real slow (great for working opal and other softies at that point). Ymmv
