At your request, I am posting pics of the backside of the wrap made for me for my first cab done at the Kanawha Rock & Gem Club show last fall. I found the card that was mailed back with it. It was done by Frank ‘Franko’ Zambrotto, who was inducted into the National Rockhound and Lapidary Hall of Fame this fall. I felt credit had to be given where it was due.... The wrap is made of one long vertical piece of square wire and two shorter side pieces, bound in the usual fashion with half round: The back An odd view looking down from the top And final, a question...when you take pics of shiny cabs int he bright sun, how do you keep the reflections of the clouds off of them? Or reflections of me and my camera???

That is awesome. Sometimes the side or edges of a stone are interesting and you don't want to cover it. I think it could be useful on small stones too. Thanks for showing us!

I agree with Jo, simple and elegant. Sometimes less is more. Thanks for showing this, I'll definitely use the technique in the future.

Great wrap and stone. Do not take the picture in the direct sunlight. Has to be in a shadow. Ken

Thanks for showing that. I am going to have to become a student of his work. I really like that simple, yet elegant style! I have much to learn!!!
