OK I've thought up a few more of these music trivia things  Guess the artist and song title based on the clue provided: 1) His song was similar to a revolving rock. 2) They sang of happiness to the planet. 3) They encouraged you to secure a narrow strip of colored material to an aged acorn producer. 4) They were bred to be undomesticated. 5) They encouraged travel on foot akin to a resident of Cairo. 6) What he sang about is contained within the substance we breathe this evening. 7) They sang of a desire to grasp another's metacarpals. 8) They sang about the daylight of your affection. 9) He sang about a female stealing his eyesight through methodical studies. 10) They sang of having a sensitive emotional understanding toward mephistopheles.
