My first cabber was a bench grinder. Little bit of a hassle making hoods and pans for it, but it served me well until I could afford proper equipment.

hey folks...yaw may want to try find 1 of these also...i heard they may have been discontinued...it may not be in somes price range...but the arbors are 10 inches long....8 inches of solid shaft...2 inches of thread on each end...right and left hand thread as most grinders are...a full 1 hp...your own titan if you are a handy man. search for.... Jet 577110 Jsb-10l 10-inch Buffer And Sander it is a pain to make pans and such....but if you are going to do it for a 2 wheel grinder...why not do it for a grinder that can hold 6 or 8 wheels...4 thru 8 inch wheels...just a thought...my machine below....i only use it when i need to make stuff for folks..has 4 inch wheels at the moment...kev.

Thanks Cpdad. When I get back to Washington I will order one. I have some eight inch wheels that need a little rock snot. I love my Genie but Diamond Pacific's prices are out of site for me and this looks like a way for me to get a eight inch setup.
