When I was at yesterday's show I came across a dealer that had some Agate from Argentina. As I started looking at the slabs I asked him if this was Condor Agate and he said that the term "Condor" applies to a rather large area in the country and there were a lot of subcategories of Agate within the Condor Agate group. He said this material was from Los Noquios , Cerro Victoria, Argentina. I haven't a clue where it might be but the Agate is super beautiful. He had rough and slabbed material and most of the rough pieces were in the 1-1/2" to 3" range and I believe it was priced at $20 a pound. He had one tray of slabs available for picking through. He had other trays of both slabs and rough but he had some large cardboard boxes full of grab bags on top of them. At the time there were about 1,000,000 kids from the local school rampaging through the room so he covered most of his stuff up to prevent any mishaps (accidental or otherwise). I was able to look through the slab tray and these were ones that I bought. These are the plans I have for them. Bob

Krystee, The two smaller slabs are rather thin at about 1/8" so they will take me a little longer to get a dome on them. The larger one is just under 3/16" so it will go quickly. Bob

Those skinny ones are a bugger to get done, but we all know you'll have no problems with them Bob. They're some nice lil slabs you picked out!

Beautiful material! I like how you followed the pattern in the slabette in the 4th pic, drawing that flowing contour. It's gonna be a jaw-dropper. I would watch out for possible fractures at the bottom of the cab, but why am I saying this to the master of stabilizing?
