I've been working in the garden and cutting slabs and having fun. These are some I've cut over the last week. Polka dot from Bobby1,dino bone, fancy jasper, unikite closeup of the dots .Couldnt see any from the outside of it. Rainforest jasper top, rose quartz bottom, unknown agate in between I liked the framed jasperon top,2 big slabs from a huge rock Curt gave me. This is from the larger pieces of local pet wood. Most all of it tends to be brown or tan. The top slabs are something I got in a Tony -catmandewe grab box a couple years ago. I read a discussion on here about what someone called basidian, basalt and obsidian mix.Dont know if thats what it is. Interesting rock.Bottom is some stromatolite I got in a trade with collie182. Closeup of the slabs. Thanks for looking. snuffy

the warm front stopped just short of NE Kansas. sigh.
good dots in the polka dot, and looks solid. the obsidian basalt mix looks interesting, was hoping for closeups of the bone
happy cutting!

Nice! I've been playing hard with obsidian lately, and got some in the works right now too. So.... they all look fantastic but love that basidian, basalt and obsidian mix. No clue what that is??? Looks similar to Butte's Midnight Lace but with earthy colors added in it. Sure looks like pretty stuff ;D !
