Alas, it's a glass bead and not stone, but I've been trying to figure out an adjustable ring I was happy with, and found myself drawn to the 'evil eye' beads. So funny, I did one, and it was so tall, since the bead was round. I went to bed frustrated, then woke up the next morning and it hit me: I work rock. I have a grinder! Lol, I ground a bunch of them, and it's just right. Now I'm having fun.

Very cool! It reminds me of the eye of horus.

Very nice ring design. I would like it better with a stone and not an eye. I couldn't wear it. It would give me the creepies. LOL

In Greece, they use these to ward OFF evil. When my son was born on Crete, his godmother pinned one to his blanket to ward off the bad stuff.

Yes, you have to think of them as your very own guardian against 'evil' energies, lol. They only gaze benevolently at those that wear them.

Hubby was always creeped out by the big one my parents' foreign exchange student gave me to hang in my son's room. I ended up hanging it from the curtain rod so he couldn't see it.
I love that though! Very nice design!

Dee! I love your stuff. You have been my exception to the "simple is best" rule for years.
