Here's the first two slabs from some large rough I bought from Mel recently. This is a cousin to Amy Sage, and a nice pocket of translucent purple is starting to open up. Thanks again Mel, this stuff is sweeeet! ;D

Wow, I knew that was a pretty nice hunk but that's even nicer than I thought it would be. The miner I got it from said those pink/orchid colors are unusual and he was thinking of calling it orchid amethyst sage. Happily,I'm pretty sure I have a smaller piece I saved for myself. *S* Glad you like it and I can't wait to see the cabs...Mel
