or wave hill dolomite, or rolling hills dolomite, seen it under various names. slabs usually go for high dollar. this is actually on the LS12 right now. I just heard the next slab drop. I got about 4 more slabs of the really wavey pattern to take. The wavey stuff is in the vise and the flatter stuff wa towards the blade. Got a thick end cut too. traded my DB-100 band saw for this rock about 4 years ago. never got set up to cut it till now.

That's pretty! What is it like as far as hardness?

a hair under 6, but it works up well. I got a slab a few years ago and trimmed out a few pieces and finished in the tumbler.

Now, that is about the best dolomite I have ever seen!!! I had given up hope to see any that good! Most of it has so many pits or looks like it has strait lines instead of the "Rolling Hills". It is just beautiful! Fran

Wow - those are nice. Love the variations. Can't wait to see what you do with these. You have some of the nicest material - can tell you really work to find good, quality stuff. Find myself looking forward to your slabs.

Very nice Daniel! Glad to see you finally got around to cutting it. Happy that it has a nice pattern. Daniel
