Anyone going to the Victor Valley Gem anf Minerial Club Tailgate. ( Victorville California) It started Friday and ends on this Sunday. Its is held off Stoddard Wells Road. Also there is going to be a field trip to the Tri-Color Marble. My son and I are going Sat. This is like a big swap meet for rocks and etc.

I had hoped to but just don't have time. We used to camp there every year for the show and set up to sell a couple times. If the weather is nice it is a great thing to enjoy. It is a free tailgate show and usually has plenty of used equipment and old timers selling rock.

I used to go camping out that way when I was a kid. This thread brings back good memories of that area but I am sure it is much more grown up by now. Too bad it won't be in July when I am in CA.
