Hello everyone, and greetings from Sweden! I found this awesome forum when searching the internet for information regarding rock tumbling. And now that my tumbler finally arrived I decided to join.
I think I will set up the tumbler later this day so if anyone have a few tips for a newbie feel free to send me a message or two.
Anyway I'll have to catch the bus in about 40 minutes so I'll be logging on later today. Bye. ;D

You are in the right place...Sweden, what kind of rocks do you guys have over there? Looking forward to seeing some of your finds.

And there is about 300 different types of mineral to be found in that area. Unfortunately some areas you are not allowed to collect mineral. But there are many more mines in the province of Värmland, most of them was shut down in the late 1800's. Besides there is not much police in those areas and there is plenty of drug use to keep the police force occupied. I doubt they care to go to remote abandoned mines to stop people from taking a few rocks from the heaps of discarded stone.
