John was in San Antonio for the show last weekend, and is staying for a couple of weeks. He volunteered to come take a look at my ancient Lortone SA-8 arbor to see why I can't get the bearings and pulley to come off for replacement. Well, he worked on that thing for about 2 hours, and got it all apart, then put it back together with one new bearing (I had new bearings that I bought on eBay) and one old one that still seemed ok. What a delight!
I don't have adequate words to express how grateful I am to John! Thank You Thank You Thank YOU!
Tom

Hey John, when you coming by? ;D I have a 14" lortone that, I think, has a bent arbor. New blades and it still is out of round. Quit using it for now. Seriously, WTG. Made Tom happy. Ken

Ken, from what I hear, repair parts directly from Lortone are pretty reasonable. Don't tell anyone but most "discount distributors" don't discount repair parts. Thanks all for the kind words.
