Wanted to go copper on the beautiful bluegreen of this howlite Turqoise cross and give it a rustic feel. Might need to re-wrap, think would look better if I hammered the copper first. Thoughts? Yes, the neck is sloppy, was trying to make it look sort of like tied leather, but didn't come out quite right. It's a fairly large cross, 3.5" tall and about 2" wide.

I actually like it as is, very nice. I can see where a hammered look would be nice as too.

It is beautiful as it is, but as you mentioned, hammered and patinaed (sp?) would really be WOW!

Neat wrap Robin!!! I love how the drilled wrap looks with your cross!

Love the cross, but the wrap doesn't do anything for me. Seems 'weak' compared to the substantial cross. Maybe two wires crossing at the center instead of the single. The copper itself looks great.

Oh I love the cross but I can see it with say 14 gauge wire hammered flat or textured crossing in the middle. It is stunning as it is.
