Few more SW AZ slabs. We picked this rock up at a old turquoise mine about fifteen miles north of Yuma just across the Colorado River in CA about ten years ago. The mine was picked over but I brought home a coffee can full of maybes. I was digging around yesterday in the old can, found, and cut this rock. I could not get the stone to polish and will try again when we go north in a couple of weeks. The rest of the slabs are from Red Bluff Mt. Another pink vein jasper with a couple interesting eyes. Has a few work arounds but colorful. Notice change about three slices apart. Very light lavender color and will give a nice bubble appearance to cab when cut. These colorful slabs has a lot of fractures and if trimmed along them still gives nice pieces for nice colorful cabs.

I think ET is hiding in the bottom slab in the second picture on the left side...Love all the slabs and it looks like you had a successful day of cutting! Fran
