Cut some this week Just got some of this in today,cut off of a couple. Pyroxmangite.Sho' will turn the oil black. Dont know the top ones,believe the bottoms are jellybean jasper This is an unknowner,the rock they came off of Maybe Deschutes jasper? Bennett Mountain agate from catmandewe and a pinkish chalcedony. Lookin' good Snuff. That does look like Deschutes, but I'm rotten at ID's. Never heard of the Pyroxmangite stuff. Does it have Pyrite in it?

Curt,it can have pyrite in it. It is a manganese silicate just like rhodonite,but is harder than rhodonite.Thats what I was told.

That Bennett Mountain looks dreamy.... reminds me of gazing up at the clouds. Very pretty stuff!
