So my hubby had a couple loads of crushed rock put on our driveway yesterday. He told me that I would have to tell you all that he just had 45 ton of rough put down on the drive!! It's not very pretty right now because of all the mud and stuff but it's supposed to rain today and tomorrow. I can't wait to see what all is out there. People that drive by are gonna wonder what the heck I'm doing sitting in the middle of the driveway with a 5 gallon bucket!! Guess I'll have to tolerate being known as the weird lady that lives on the corner! Otter

Hey Otter, you'll have to tell your hubby that if he really loved you, he would of had the 45 tons of rock shipped in from Africa! Then we could all be standing around in your driveway with 5 gallon buckets. Ron

i'm polishing some driveway rock right now. quite amazing how beautiful some of them are. after a good rain is the best time to go looking - you can see colors when they are wet that don't show when they are dry but you have to remember the story about the ugly rockling.... ;D

For those of you who aren't able to find rocks to tumble in your area, just go to Home depot and buy a bag of small blue river rock. Lots of nice rock in those bags.

Really? I thought Home Depot was like Starbucks--one on every corner. Don't tell me you don't have Starbucks? There are 3 Home Depots within a 10 mile radius of my house. Would you like one?

Starbucks - where a pound of coffee cost $14.00!! Don't drink it myself, but my sis loves it. Said one day that she wished she could afford a couple of pounds of it, so that's what I got her for Christmas. I nearly fell over when I saw the prices!
Home Depot - my second favorite place in the world. I could spend hours and thousands of dollars in there! My favorite place is the rock shop - any rock shop!
