I foud these last summer when my son-in-law and I did a little hounding together. The way the desert soil is here, It's is powdery soft to 4" - 5" deep and then gets rock hard. As the rock works up out of the ground, it can't go back down. so all of this was just under the surface. Ended up excavating about about a 20' circle area that yeilded about a 5 gal bucket of this. I just ran across this yesterday as I was looking in buckets of rock that I use to tie down the pool cover with. Guess I'd better get this a little closer to my saw so I don't forget it again. gary

That is awesome material to just find lying around. Great return on your work investment.

Thanks Toad, I was like a kid with a pocket full of quarters in a candy store. It was better than the best day fishin, even if my knees were full of thorns.

Arizona appears to have a whole lot of colourful stuff, but that is particularily sweet. You`ll have no problem trading that. Sounds like you have a desert full.
