So, I ordered some copper practice wire from Brandywine like you all told me to, then I downloaded Randy's tutorial, Adrian's groove wrap, looked up Jim McIntosh's directions, and Junesse Farley's wrap. Started simple and went from there. Biggest problem is that square wire twists a lot easier than I thought it would and Randy's flowing loops are no where near as easy as he makes it look. I know...practice and patience! When I was done my husband gold plated the first three and nickel plated that last one (I know, lots of people are sensitive to nickel but I'm not and I'm keeping it!). It really is nice to have an electroplater/electroformer who lives with you... ;D So here goes: Simple grove wrap (I know, boring cab, I like it, but it is very plain...I had to start somewhere) Junesse Farley wrap, my flint cab McIntosh wrap, my flint cab Randy's wrap, free4ms cab from Christmas story contest Sue

Copper is much softer than gold filled so it's slightly more challenging to control the swirls. Those are awesome first-time wraps, you're gonna do great!! Keep practicing and keep posting pics, you've got the knack

Wow, those don't look like beginner wraps. You certainly do have a talent. Keep up the good work.

Great job on all of those Sue. I like the last one the best. Your wraps look nice, even, and tight. You do have a knack for wrapping. Look forward to seeing more from you.
