I looked at some of the amethyst sage pictures which all seem to have the black dendrites. This rock has black spots and doesn't seem as translucent as some of the pictures I saw. I'll cut some slabs from the right side of the rock which seems more purplish and translucent.

I am with Mary Ann on this one, I think Amethyst Sage. I have cut some that was very similar.

Looks like a material from Wyoming , called tiffany jasper
