Had me a little time after riding today so you know I had to roll the new saw back out and attack some more pet wood. Man I wish someone had a good book for Texas pet wood as some of this stuff is just so odd. Sure wish I had a clue what it all is. .....Mel The first piece is again some type of tiny bundled palm type stuff. For size the vascular bundles are maybe one fourth the size of those in Palmoxylon. Love the colors in these slabs! Close up shot: More shrinkwood type stuff with kind of fan patterns in the piece.

Nice ones,Mel. Seems like I ran across what wood has those small bundles. I read all I could find on wood years back, but cant remember where.

I like the fan pattern in the shrinkwood. Although that bundled pattern is pretty nifty too.
