dave called me the other day and told me that the turritella he bought had some blue agate in the shells.... well that sent me right to the saw with the piece i got. ;D This is the slabs i got. I don't usually like this stuff. This is pretty cool. This is the $2.25 a lb. rock..... I hope who bought this is equally as happy. I needed some green aventurine for a few cabs. I bought a fairly large piece because i liked the dark green color. So, guess where the slabs go........ Thanks, mary ann

Good to see you slabbing again! That is a nice dark green and the turritella looks great too! I would warn the newbies though that when cutting the turritella, avoid the lighter areas on the edges in your cab patterns. They usually are much softer. That is something I did when I first started and couldn't figure out why my cab was crumbling. Lesson learned so I am passing it along Fran

Wow that adventurine is dark in color. I don't think I have ever seen it so dark. Nice cab from it too. Like the blue in the tur. I had some with the blue also. Really looks nice all shined up
