It looks like knives are getting popular. Here are three I just finished. Lepidolite on a Bull Shark. I really like this shape. It's too bad it's been discontinued. File work on Bull Shark Turquoise on Melt Down Agents Blade Pinolith on Damascus. I call this one the Baby Damascus. The blade is only 1.75". It looks like a toy. There is still a little rust on the edge of the blade I need to remove.

They look great. I like the damascus the best, looks camoflaged. Like the way you did the filework on the bull Shark. Does the agents blade have thumb screws on both sides? And is the turquoise reconstructed? Ken

Really nice work. I too like damaskas steel. I think I have a blade blank around here some where. I need to go dig it out. Mike

Thank you for the compliments.
To answer Ken's questions, the turquoise is natural but stabilized. I found the rough a couple of years ago and wish I had more. It's a little hard to polish but looks great with the spider webs.
The Bull Shark came from Premium knife Supply and i can't take the credit for the file work.
The Agent's blade does have thumb screws on both sides. (You can see in the second pix were the bolster doesn't meet the frame on one corner.)

Awesome knives! I really like the turquoise but Damascus always rules.

those are awesome! where would a person go to find cheap blades to learn and practice on? this looks like something I could definately become interested in and really enjoy.

Nice work! Did you do the engraving on the blade? I have a couple of knives I've wanted to engrave and make new handles for. May be I'll try soon. Beautiful work!

Try jantzsupply.com, customknifekits.com or premiumknifesupply.com for knife blanks. Some of the kits from Jantz might be a good place to start. These kits come with preformed scales that make good patterns. I like premiumknifesupply.com but their quality seems to vary quite a bit. If you look at the bottom edge of the bolster on the Agent's Blade you can see a defect. On another knife, the balde is so loss to make it worthless.
