Had a new job offer that I accepted so next week I'll be heading to Lake Mary for about three weeks of training. Weekends off, so if there is anything, or rather any place, near there to go check out would be grand.
Any suggestions?

Forgot all about Rucks Pit. Now I know I'm gonna have to carry my collecting gear with me! Rucks is going to require some 'mud gear' lol.... wow, quite a few places for me to check out. Going to have to plan this carefully as I only have off on the weekends.
Might be able to catch this one: May 14-15, 2011 Peace River Dig Weekend Info in the April Newsletter

You are going to be right across the state from me. We are remodeling, adding a class room, and you might find it interesting to see how the other half lives. We be at USAFleamarket in Port Richey. Would be nice to meet one of us.

Robin all you need for Rucks is a hand rake, small hammer and a chisel. Its not muddy on the piles but you might get wet using the water hose to wash the piles down. Keith

Might have to make a trip over there just for grins!!!

docone, can you pm me your location/address so I can enter it into my GPS? You going to be in this weekend? I'm wanting to head that way so might as well. This weekend is looking good, haven't looked at the weather yet, but would be glad to come over.

I'll be coming by tomorrow!
I'm sitting here now, making an absolute pig of myself, eating three, yes, that's 3, 10"x10"x3" take out boxes FULL of sushi (or as they say in Texas, Bait). OMG! Can't get good seafood where I live so I'm stuffing myself while I can!!! Having a blast, spent this evening out in the swamp near the south side of Lake Harney, had fun but eaten alive by these large flying creatures they call "mosquitoes" here, course I think we call them piper cubs where I come from, nearly took me away!
Having a great time, can't wait til the morning to head west and visit the flea market!
