That's a cool little visitor. Nice of him to wait around for you to get some pix. Usually by the time I get the camera out, they fly away.

That is the official butterfly of Arizona. I forget the name. Some kind of monarch.
I guess he kinda wandered off and across state lines. Send him back, I haven't seen any here yet. LOL

Beautiful pictures. That butterfly was very photogenic. Swallowtails are such a showy butterfly.

Great pics. I really like the side view one. Butterflies are hard to shoot for me because they tend to move before i can get close enough to get a good shot. Very well done and thanks for sharing.
