This is a faceted amethyst that postal sent me to wirewrap. I didn't do it. Donna did. My fingers are too fat. Robin, why can't they make cameras that automatically do white balance? Silver shows up as gold on all my pictures. I have tried every setting on this camera and even took a course at the local college on cameras and all he was interested in was how much money he could get out of us to take an advanced course. All I wanted was the basics. Thanks for looking, Ken OMG I turned it to auto and took a picture. So simple.

Wow, that last picture is awesome. I guess we have to all just let the camera do it's job. I'm not very good with mine and I know Nikon builds a pretty good camera but the bad part is I am the operator. By the way I love that faceted Amethyst and the wrap. Great job and it is beautiful.

WTG Donna, she did a great job on that one. I really like the silver with amethyst. It is interesting that the amethyst is more clear on the top and I'm glad she wrapped it with the purple on the bottom.

Thanks Ken. I had a customer ask if I could wrap a 1 - 2 ct stone...I'm pretty sure that would be nearly impossible.

I wrapped a 1 1/2 carat garnat it works better if it dosen't have a big peak in the back. You need to use four wires for wrap because of thickness and measuring carefully as you will need to use your pliers to make tight crisp corners but after all the work it looks so cool. Donna
