Thanks for sharing, Christopher. Looks like it was a great trip. My boys and I signed up to go and then, at the last minute, they decided to go geocaching instead. Overall, do you think the Kanan road site would be easy enough for kids? My boys are eight and four and I'm always looking for "family-friendly" locations to take them to. I'm only about 90 minutes from the site so I may just head out there by myself first to check it out but I thought I'd ask. Thanks again for posting the photos. Paul

What club was that? Some of the backsides look familiar.

I think that was sponsored by CFMS.

Paul, while not exactly on topic, that is one of the best avatars I've seen in a little while.

Thanks Bob. Would love to take credit for it but I found it online. I did doctor it for the upcoming election as it was for the 2008 election.
I just wish I could have gone on this trip. Boyz changed their mind at the last minute!

It was a CFMS sponsored trip and there was a lot of familiar faces there.
The climb up the mountain was moderate. I did see some young children there, actually there were a lot of kids on this trip. But take note that the hike is a little challenge for young children. Nevertheless there were quite a few on this trip and I only heard a couple complaining, lol. Beautiful area and the sage smell was really strong and refreshing!!

Thanks for the information! It looked like a great time. I may try and convince my elder son to give this site a try. Usually, if I can show him pics, such as yours, of what he can find, he'll agree.
