Hello all. Below is a wrap I finished this weekend using Phil's turquoise rough. This is my first crack at cabbing it and love the finished product. I have a feeling I'll be cabbing nothing but turquoise for weeks. Phil or anybody else... if you know from the pic what mine this is from, feel free to chime in. Thanks for looking As always, feel free to comment freely. I welcome both the good and the bad. Turquoise in 12k Gold Filled wire **edited w/ better pic

Nice work! All we know about the turquoise is Arizona. But to me it looks like northern AZ perhaps near the Kingman area, but don't quote me on that. Phil

Thanks for the kind comments. It's definately not my first cab or wrap, just first with turquoise. I tried to go simple with the wire for this one.

Very nice looking wrap. I think silver wire goes great with turquoise and the simple wrap sure shows off the cab well.

I just looked this morning with apparently new eyes and realized the wire does look too silver. It is actually 12k gold-filled, which goes with the gold color in the stone. I was messing with the white balance in my camera and still need to mess with it more The photo taking is the most annoying part of this whole process.

From the shade of the Turquoise & the yellowish matrix. I'd say it's more than likely Kingman. Very nicly done. Mike
