Cut a few chunks of palm. I've started to cut some slabs with the grain while I'm squaring up the chunks, just dots is gettin' to be dull. Watching Mel's cuts and Curt talking about it,they are interesting. With the grain is on the left,against on the right in these photos snuffy

very nice, i agree just dots gets kind of old quick, I really like the cut with the grain look and the cuts where it is cut at a slight angle with the grain so the peice shows both dots and strands,nice work

Yup, dots will make you go blind after a while. First pic, bottom, nice red!. Second pic, top left is what I look for. All of them are really nice.
