Well Chris finally got her car back last Friday with the new transmission in it. She left Amber and Tony's house on Saturday. She called me just a little bit ago and said she is in Nebraska. Only has 700 miles left to go.

She just left Rawlins Wyo. Had a funny noise there and so we called Brian and he went down and helped figure the problem out. The AC unit was grinding itself to death so they just cut the belt to it. Thanks Brian! After you leave Rawlins, it is mostly down hill from there, so she can coast home if she has to!

Chris hit a blizzard in Evanston WY, was snowing so hard she couldn't see anymore so she stopped for the night.

Blizzard in may??? Oh heck! Guess I might be grateful, instead of complaining about the chilly rains which seem to go forever here.
Good luck to Chris on her way back home. Looks like this trip was quite an adventure.

She is amazing, over 30 hours of driving and only 6 hours of sleep during it. I couldn't have done that. It was funny to hear that she was wearing a tee shirt, shorts and flip flops during that blizzard.
She was a big help to me in recovering from my surgery. Amber and I both miss her but are glad she got home safe.
