Not much choice here. Most folks go to the nearest town of Blythe, California . It has been a couple of years since I was there but it is about 30 minutes away. Lots of good hotels. Lots of restaurants but I wouldnt call them good. Of course , I am from Atlanta so I dont care for California style cooking!

Brent, I think most people just camp out at their spot. If you need anything, just let me know! Jamie and I will come camp out with you guys!!

Brent, we'll be staying at an RV park right across from the Pow-Wow and have made reservations early to save our spot. Desert Gardens has RV sites on a first come, first serve basis. You could rent a small RV or I think Mudshark stayed at a motel in town. We do have some room if you can't find anywhere. Jo

I think there is one over-priced motel in town. Many motels in Blythe. RV camping abounds with everything from free (10 miles out), $5 a night in town to full hook up rv parks. The $5 a night place (behind Texas BBQ) and the "golf course" next door allow tents. BBQ has rest rooms and sometimes showers, golf course has out houses.

The dry camp at Desert Gardens is quieter, and has showers, laundry, and rest rooms. It is $7.00 per night or $50.00 for the week. The BBQ camp is BETWEEN the big building, and the hiway.........one guy counted the trucks one night....700 in one and half hours. I can not verify that number, but they go by like a train all night.
