That looks like a really cool box of goodies. I have no idea what that extra stuff is. Did that flate lap have a motor under it? Looks like it has the mother lap there and you just drop the different grinding laps down on it and bolt them down. I suspect the water does not need a plastic tube but if you need to control your waters placement, a short piece of tube should work. Should also have a drain hole that you can put tubing into and drain into a bucket or jug. I tried looking for the booklet but have not been successful. Fran

in picture 8 i think that is a dop transfer set up pic 3 and 4 are the faceting head (Facetting dohicky) for a mast setup . in the last pic , the gear looking thingy is the index wheel . no idea about the other thingymabobs lol

Looks like the flat lap should be able to take at least one size larger master lap. It would be nice for finishing the faces on small cut nodules. Good heavy aluminum casting too. Don

Looks very similar to an old B & I flat lap I used to have. The facet head is to be used with that machine. In the last pix, the round counterweights with the offset hole is for a vibrating tumbler. Ken
