Went and saved some homeless rocks from a fate worse than death today. Got a couple friends to go with me and help us load up the poor things, took the big trailer but still couldn't fit it all in. Thanks John and Jason! Took a picture from the front of the trailer. And a picture from the back of the trailer Lots of good stuff in this load, a nice pile of Cripple Creek with some Succor creek mixed in. Lots of Graveyard point area stuff mixed in with some stuff from the Weiser area (Beacon Hill, Hog Creek) About a ton of pet wood A bunch of different kinds of Owyhee jaspers Some green owyhee jasper Was a good day and we came home with 11,000 pounds of homeless rocks. Thanks for looking................Tony

11,000 pounds? good thing you didn't get pulled over... I was actually only 140 lbs overweight until Jason and John got out then I was a few hundred under the limit. We stopped at the weigh station and checked on the way back. ( I did get registered for the maximum allowed after the last ticket.) Thanks Krystee, I think Ill take an advil and go to bed. Should be fine in the morning. Good night all...............Tony

That is a very nice trailor load there. So what was the fate worse than death from which you saved them? And was saving them from this fate, legal? Not that I care, I am all for liberating innocent rocks, just curious.

They were being covered up with weeds and sinking back into the ground, so we had to go dig them out of the weeds and dirt. Tony

What do you do with all of those? geez! Tony and Chris run a rock adoption agency. All rocks deserve a great home. He runs you through the wringer to make sure that you and the rocks are a good match and if you are lucky and pass their stringent testing, some of those rocks could be yours. Be forewarned though, they do home checks and if its found that you are not providing the appropriate homes for these rocks, they reserve the right to repossess them. ;D ;D ;D Shannon (mother of a number of previously homeless rocks that Tony and Chris saved).

Sounds like eHarmony or Match.com. Do the tests for the match include personality type indicators?
So, Tony, how big, exactly is this estate? Looks like part of a mountain range or something. Great pickup, either way.

Yeah, being covered with weeds and dirt would be a terrible fate. The only thing rocks hate worse than that is being thrown back in the water. It may take them a million years to get to shore, and someone comes along and just throws them back in. :nono: Of course I am sure they don't like being part of concrete mix either.

WOW! Looks like some boulders there and not just cutting size rocks! I know your back was aching after that one! Fran
