Got a Cardinal nest outside my kitchen window. These hatched a couple days ago. Couple days later,getting feathers. Enjoy, snuffy

They're naked!!! I thought this was a family site. LOL Baby birds are so ugly until they get feathers.

What a cool thing to be able to see! I only have little finches in bird houses at my home. Occasionally we will see the babies poke their heads out of the opening, but not too often.

It amazes me that birds can build a nest like that. Mother natures wire wrappers.

how birds got the instincts to weave nests totally fascinates me such a brilliant idea!
I once saw a bird flying to the ground picking up twigs and delivering them to the partner bird-- who was weaving the nest so I started stripping palm leaves and leaving them the bird instinctively was taking my handiwork teamwork!
