Those are freaky lookin. like some kind of giant petrified mushrooms. What does squigey think of rattle snakes? What do rattle snakes think of squigey?
Is that a layer of dark matter in the last picture?

She has not yet met a rattler. I think her fear factor would kick in. I'm more worried about the hawks and falcons then snakes. She not very big. would make a fine Raptor snack.

Wow, I loved the ones in Bryce Canyon but these are so very different and really eye catching.
