Howdy folks, Been cutting some stuff to photograph for ole Lowell. Only had three pieces of this stuff from China as it was friggin expensive rough. Cut all three and naturally, none was really typical of the material which is usually sort of a lattice type sagenite. So anyway here a couple of pics of unchopsticky chopstick agate from China *L*.....Mel

I take it orientation doesn't matter, just non-typical material?

Toad: Nope orientation don't matter. On a good example the sagenite runs in all directions like a pile of pick up sticks. The guy selling the rough was almost out of material but I always try to pick up a few new things at shows so took the risk. See, I do cut duds now and then *L*.....Mel
