I anyone missed out on the first sale or just can't stay away from a rock pile sale, the Sacramento folks are having another sale. It's an awesome sale and from personal experience, an incredible deal. The pile is huge and full of good surprises. There's lots of good stuff. It's really amazing. And yes, it's really 10 cents a pound! It is also an open house with a bbq and club tables. I am looking forward to going. They have a great club with cool people. I had the opportunity to talk with them last time I was there. It will be difficult to pry me from the pile however ;D Here's the link. I would recommend that anyone who is free go just to bask in the pile of rocks. I would recomment bringing gloves, sturdy shoes, and sunscreen. It gets hot and the rocks are sharp. Bumping this in case someone didn't see this!
Past few days I have been very busy making an Inventory list for my products, and trying to deside on prices! Is it better to set prices low to get people buying. Or set them a bit higher in case someone trys to will and deal?

Don't go cheap, Colt. Better to price your pieces higher & have some room to wheel & deal! But then, that is only my opinion!

I got back earlier this evening and wow we had a great time. It was the same giant pile of rocks but this time there was a bbq and club tables. We came home with 340 pounds of awesome rocks. Photos to follow. Steve

Colt, we had a discussion of this on the thread, "What Sold at the Show," I will try to put a link: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=wwp&action=display&thread=45566&page=2In my experience, if you set a high price looking to haggle, then you attract hagglers. The no trouble, no hassle customer will see the high price and quietly walk away. So I say, set a fair FIRM price rather than an inflated one unless you're very adept at the wheeling and dealing. No one gets a discount from me by haggling, which is just another word for being obnoxious as far as I'm concerned. My prices are already low, so I'm just not willing to argue with hagglers. If they want a discount, they need to help me out by buying in QUANTITY. No one gets a discount for buying one item. Who died and made them special, if you know what I mean?
