Not that it was ever broken... It just took FOREVER to cut anything. It was always that way, even when I bought a new blade. Spike was here last weekend and looked at it for me. The blade was worn, but not completely worn out. We decided to buy a new blade anyway. At Home Depot he looked at the blades and pulled out a Husky diamond 7", the one he usually gets. (The last one I bought was a diamond blade for cutting glass.) Installed the Husky blade and it ripped through whatever we tried. Mystery solved! I'm thinking the glass cutting blade had finer grit on it. Anyway, just thought I'd share so that others don't make the same mistake. Later, jeri

Jeri: I tried the Husky on my Workforce. Cut like a tiger but also rougher than a cob and for me it lasted about the same amount of time as the much cheaper blades I'd been using which cut just as fast but smoother. I had a tough time with the Husky when I used it for trimming preforms from cabs because of excessive chipping....Mel

Hey Jeri, next time you cut throw a little scoop of borax in your water! Sure does help with the cutting & helps preserve the blade!
