I think that someone on this board was telling me about rock hounding on Fossil Creek last year, we are leaving for that area tomorrow, Wed, and wanted to know where and when to go. Any help from any one on this forum would be a greatly appreciated.

Is it the Fossil creek off of the Kalama River in Cowlitz county or the one closer to the coast in the Grays River area? I believe theres Carnelian and Jasper up in the Kalama basin, you should message Woody, his club was up that way last summer.

Thanks Lee, it is the one closer to the Grays river. Hoping to find out what I can find in that area.
