Had to get Harlie in here now that she's home...... Harlie with her new best friend ;D This little guy was in our back yard. He put him in a box until Cathy was finished mowing the lawn then turned him loose.....

Wow beautiful turtle. Very strong and colorful markings. Dang fire ants have pretty much wiped out the land turtles around here. All we see are the aquatic types and even they have a tough time nesting as the ants get into the nests too....Mel

Great pics Randy. That turtle is one lucky and cool looking turtle. Glad he/she was rescued from being mowed down literally.

Randy, the back yard looks great and it looks like Cathy's new flower bed is bloomin' beautiful! Mr. Turtle picked a good spot to live. John and Harlie are quite the pair, too cute.
How come you weren't mowing the lawn and letting Cathy get some schoolwork done... huh? ;D

Great pictures! Harley looks like she is having a blast with a new visitor! That turtle is awesome! My problem this week with the garden is that some foxes are hanging around. Bunnies try to get in but can't, the deer have not attempted the fishing line (yet) The bugs are trying to eat everything in the garden and for some reason, a fox made it in between the top of the fence and fishing line and landed on my onions, bending them over so they won't grow any longer. Then it left some colorful scat in the pathway as well as all around the outer fence. This may be a problem...oops! got of subject! Have fun everyone! Fran
