I've been gone for awhile. My boss made me go to Moab Utah to work for a few days. Mostly work and not much play. Darn it. I did get to rock hunt for 2 hours. Did not find anything good. However my boss's husband gave me a slice of Dino bone which he had found a large piece of a few years ago. I saw that and my eyes popped. He said he had a very large piece of which this came off of. I will make 2 cabs/wraps for her and keep he rest myself. It looks like a Dino Steak to me. There are no cracks the scratches you see are in the shellak he had put on it. And the other side where I marked the cabs I want. I have already cut them out, Kinda a puzzle but I didn't want to waste any of this stuff. I did get all of them out but had to sacrifice a little bit of the freeform ones. The 4 cabs I have made already took a very glossy shine and are beautiful! I will post pix later. I did get time to go to the local rock shop and bought a couple pieces of dino bone also. But not as good as this one. Amy

Beautiful slab. I'd surely keep it as a specimen and polish it.
