My wife hurt her shoulder the other day. Well I;m not the most sympathetic persone usually. Partly the way I was raised not to talk or complain when hurt or sick. Just get on with things & partly just my own impatience with injury or illness. I don't have time to be sick & that's what I kept telling the Drs. when I was sick with Conjestive Heart failure. So I just got better. Anyway I decided to make something to tell her I really do love her & am sorry she hurts. It's Leopardskin Jasper. Doesn't take a mirror polish (too porrus I guess) but I think I got it pretty well. The slab was red on one side & yellow & green on the other (more red than the slab in the pic.). So I drew the design to be red on ones side & yellow on the other. Looks kinda cool I think like two different stones. I chaped the outside. Then started carving out the center, rounded, sanded & polished. Hope you like it (she did & wore it to Bible study tonight). Thanks for looking. Mike

I really like the heart and the thought behind it. And--quite an impressive polish on that stuff. I've tried to polish it in the past and the proper word is "tried."

WOW That is so cool! with me being sentimental, I love the story behind it. You have a great style, your wife is a lucky wife to have such a caring husband. I hope that all gets better soon.
God Bless

Mike that is really nice & I understand you because I am the same way! I feel bad about it sometimes though & try to be more understanding, however I am just as tough on myself as well!
