Since they mention "spin discs" I assume it would take standard no hole 6" laps with 1/4"-20 threaded stud, Nova Discs, Magnetic Novas, etc. You can see all those in Diamond Pacific's catalog, Kingsley North, etc. I discount the Diamond Pacific stuff.

You can spend a lot of money on this one, too. Hee hee All lapidary can get expensive. But, you got a GOOD buy on it. Get your discs from John and he gives discounts to members. As for rocks, ALL OF THEM. Jaspers would probably be the easiest to start with. I would get an 80 grit, 180, 360, 600 and 1200 and a polish pad with felt for 14,000 diamond and one to put leather on for cerium oxide. Cerium will work when nothing else will, or rather, it is best all around for polishing. My 2 cents worth. Ken
