I just got started in tumbling. My husband bought me a Lortone Tumbler because I absolutely fell in love with the Cape May Diamonds and the different rocks on Sunset beach in Cape May NJ. I'm working down the shore three days a week this summer taking High School kids to work at the different Wawa's in the area so have a couple of hrs to kill a day. I head to Sunset beach looking for beautiful rocks. Anyone want any of these rocks let me know. I'm on week two with some rocks I collected. My vision is to wrap these rocks to make earring and pendent sets.

Thanks.
I really enjoy looking at all of your stuff on here. Some of the rocks are absolutely gorgeous. I did do my first wrap, I just couldn't wait for the stones to get done. I used Biker Randys info which was great by the way. I'll post in the picture section.

Welcome, I live in central N J on the shore. Never made it to Cape May though but hearing of all of the beautoful rock that are on the cape I just might have to go there some time. Were I am on the shore I have not seen any rocks worth picking up. Stu

Hi Greg, I took your advice and I started walking the beach from my house all the way up into Asbury Park. Well, I was approached by what appeared to be a boy from the hood. He asked me "wacha lookin foe?" I said rocks. He told me that I have come to the right place and he then pulled out a plastic bad that contained an assortment of white rocks and he started to give me prices LOL Stu
