Well, the tropical storm went way south. We are around 23 inches below normal the last year and a half. Here's a pic where my lush pasture behind my house should be. snuffy

Yeah, we only got a few sprinkles out of the storm too. Next chance is a week away and before then we're supposed to have 104 degree temps. Man, we cannot catch a break!......Mel

The same here in eastern Oklahoma. The trees leaves are turning brown and falling off. I loose a few trees every year to heat and no rain. James

For the sake of you you guys the rain gods need to get this sorted out. Our 'normal' dry month, July has had rain about every other day............I think I could grow rice on the back of our property if it did not drown first. Woody

21st century and we can't figure out how to get water from flooded areas to drought areas...
Well, if we did know how, the environmentalists would block it.

Too bad we can't pump out a bunch of water to your field. The west coast had a real wet winter. Steve

We feel your pain here in NW Arkansas. We are on our 35th day of continuois 100º+ temps and no rain since June. Predicted to be 110º tomorrow...yikes! I have put out 4 plastic wading pools for the wildlife....the farm ponds are drying up.
